Good art good story, not so good at using it to its potential

I'll let this marinate till end of the year(or more), it's not even slow burn atp - more like dragging only theme it has. Absolutely nothing happened for 31 chapters in any aspect, beside time skip.
If it stays this underwhelming, them going back and forth for any communication and physical touch they have, its gonna be so disappointing
