Will Marions character ever get any depth or make any sense? Like victor is the typical " i want to have this person. Lock her away. And by doing that i take everything from her that made her "her"" kinda guy. But she is just really badly written! Like no character at all! What abput the friends and family and comrades she had back home? Not once does seh talk abput missing them! Or do we really believe an heir and knight and one of the best warriors has sich bad instincts with people? And is so naive? Letting her independence be taken away just like that? Not one choosing intiative? How the hell would she have survived on the battlefield and lead her family and region without leading qualities and resolution and strength and willpower. No person would give that up just like that or be able to change their inner core just because they made up their mind "to pay the price"!Her only character trait is being "the strong woman who is different than other women". Wth is that??
The story had for the original idea but maaaaan ii am really disappointed with another weak and badly written female protagonist.
