But yeah, it's gonna be boring for me if he just keeps taking the drugs. While it COULD make for a neat story (assuming we don't go the "uke stays at rock bottom and relies on the seme"), I'm not really into any dynamic besides alpha/omega.

It would be neat and I find it the only thing that makes an omegaverse worthwhile (unless we're actually talking about the injustices), but I don't want this to mean he loses his career. As of now, he's just on suspension for illegal drug use. If it's found out he's an omega, that's it. I'm not a fan of the common trope of the omega (or the uke) losing or quitting their job. I think the omega's situation is supposed to be karma for being a bully, but from what we see, it's mainly just discrimination; he couldn't join the team due to being an omega, and thus became an alpha, and his wife left him due to being an omega, I think.
And I'm almost certain the drugs won't do anything to the alpha, but it feels like it SHOULD come with consequences and the omega should feel bad for it.
