exactly. theyre also acting like we didnt get 2 whole seasons of that? i honestly appreciate the angst. dont get me wrong, i love a fluffy healthy relationship but the tone shift is not an unwelcome change in my opinion, it feels in line with the time skip, that we get a more adult version of them. itd be unrealistic if they went all those years the same people they were in college.
They also said this has no progress at all as if this chapter alone doesn't show how it's heading closer to reconciliation
I'm surprised a lot of people find the slow burn bad or being dragged out. I personally never thought of it as being dragged out. Their story is still pretty much engaging and I'm still curious of both characters' stories (yes, no matter how annoying it can be for them to always misunderstand each other), but I get it. I think it resembles real life, misunderstandings don't generally get to be cleared out as fast as people would want it to, especially when two people are so emotionally wrecked and are going through something.
I'm actually enjoying the story. Of course, I am excited for them to be okay again and have cute little stories of their domestic life soon but I also will enjoy the story that will get them to the phase. I hope people will be more patient too
