overall, it was a good read but i don't think i'd want to reread it over again. one thing i actually hated was the part where eugene just practically forgives alexis immeditaely as if alexis never told him to "disappear" and/or as if alexis never broke his promise to stay by his side. it's quite annoying that some authors think that these things can be resolved by simple apologies then the other would be like "ok". at least make him own up to his own mistakes. well, eugene did say he'd act like he still hates alexis but he barely showed that. all he did was act all clammy around alexis cause "he loves alexis". yeah, sure.
but then i guess, this is just their own world. cause in reality, some people would still go back with their jerkass partner after several verbal abuses. anyway, regardless of that, this was honestly good.
