Okay so… In the last few chapters, when the dude is calling the dude and basically explains how he’s been feeling.. what kind of trauma response is his called? I’m asking because I had the same trauma response. I was only essay’d before but nothing close to what the dude went through in this story.. uh but yeah. Memory loss, permanent fatigue, loss of self, and mostly all the responses he’s having. I don’t even remember when this started.. anyways, does anyone know if this type of trauma response has a name or explaination as to why my body responds this way? I’m trying to make sense here…

Heyyy, first of all I'm no professional, but I have a few mental illness too, so I analyze most of them myself and be my own therapist (that's one of the trauma respond but I'm using it for good), and I don't think there will be a name to put them together in. Trauma responds come in different ways after all. He started losing memories probably bc he couldn't accept what he's dealing, it's an overwhelming torture, so it's probably called dissociative amnesia, the mind itself shut down everything, so he naturally can't remember anything, everything is a blur, he cannot remember and he is not living in it either, his body just moves. Loss of oneself might be depersonalization, he's been trained in a way he didn't want to. And also, PTSD, because he experienced severe trauma for long period of time. He got abused over and over again, his body is responding the same way how it's been treated too. That's why he started loving abusive sex. About permanent fatigue, I had this one personally, when you're stuck in a loop, traumatic one at that, for so long, your body just shut itself down, I remember I couldn't even get myself water. It's hard to get up, it's hard to do chores, it's hard to do everything, I just wanted to lay down and do nothing. So, I think you're dealing with PTSD, dissociation, and depersonalization, there may be much more explanation that makes sense when you see the professional of course, but overall, how I see is that you're in a state before healing process, it's familiar and easy to stay in that state because the pain and all the thoughts, the voices and all the messes are things you already experienced and knew. It feels numb, it feels nothing to be exact. But I had my own way of dealing with it and getting over it. I make myself do the things I don't want to, if I don't want to get up, I get up. If I don't want to go, I go. It might be harsh hearing this but I did it with broken heart anyway, because I couldn't let myself go over that trauma, and something that happened in the past, I worth much more than my trauma response. And when a cat broke down, you can't start the engine right after it, so it takes time. The biggest step is accepting the reality, and finding a solution. The solution is easy. Don't respond to anything that's saying in your head. If it's saying something , accept it as it is like, "oh it's saying this, fine" then move on. It won't work right away , but so far, that's the only way to deal with trauma. And your trauma or trauma responses will never really go away, it will be there for the longest of time, and it will show up countless of times, so just let them be. Scars won't go away but the wound surely does. Therefore, you'll be able to pick yourself up again. Im no professional again, for the record, I hope you found someone who can help you professionally, but not like all professional advices will make life better, so I hope whatever that will help you come into your life. And it will get better, because nothing last forever, just don't let yourself go, you too worth so much more.
