I don't think they are down bad initially, Kwon Jaeyi likes being in a relationship first before having sexual relationship so I would say he's pretty responsible despite being a jerk but he realize he can have someone like Ideum where he can fuck without having relationship and it's also win win for both of them.
While his brother on the other hand is a jerk, he just wants to sleep around and take from others, he thinks the world owes him so I don't think he's down bad, I think it's a sadistic feeling that he has.
Correct, but not really, Jaeyi DOES NOT like relationships and he says this himself, he only have relationships because “why not” for sexual contact, and for the dates his friend get’s some gifts or something, because Jaeyi is hot stuff around them. He said in earlier chapters, he doesn’t even know what feelings and relationships like this are (like love, etc.) but he still cares very deeply about Ideum and other people, like his friend and the swim teacher noticed it too.
As for Jiseong, the older bro, he is just a snake, just like you said. He hates his little bro so much, he want’s to sleep with Ideum just for idk, annoy Jaeyi?! Like, yuck.
I initially meant just down bad freaky for ideum. Although very likely that the brother would just use him to get back at jaeyi, that’s not what I got because before his brother knew that ideum was potentially involved with Jaeyi, he was already attractive to him.
