Actually what does Seobun even do? Just grow herbs for the business? He got the crappy job for sure as Mokga at least enjoys running the stable, it seems like the oldest three got the big jobs then moving down no one got a decent one except Ilchu and I suspect it's only because Cheol regards him so highly so he gets tasked with more as a result
Why are the pronouns so messed up? Cheol and Ilchu were speaking about their father's choice, Ilchu asking why his father is refusing the delegation and Cheol responding with his father's reasoning, being that the second brother dying already turned up the structure so their father doesn't want to take a risk that would disrupt the balance they barely recovered.
Anyways this was an amazing chapter, we finally got to see the dynamic between the other brothers and oh wow is Seobun really, really resentful. We saw him sabotage Cheol before and dismiss Ilchu, he does it here again and now knowing he's the one actively seeking out the truth about their brother's death it seems like he's lashing out at all of them, even Mokga as that side eye Mokga gave him was hilarious lmaoooo. Needless to say it seems that Seobun suspects Cheol and Ilchu like Moryeon does, but Seobun is a wildcard.
Still, the way Cheol approaches things, saying temporary, making everything a more diplomatic suggestion instead of just asserting authority. It makes him very compelling as he's not malicious, more pragmatic. What is he tasking Ilchu with investigating, perhaps the plant? Or were they the ones spying on Seobun and Yeju meeting, not Moryeon's servant like we all thought in chapters 25-26.
I like that we finally see what the family thinks, from their POV their choices make perfect sense, Moryeon locked himself up and gave no reason and the family business is taking damage as a result so ofc they'd be very disappointed and angry. But oh man, Moryeon looks horrible. Yeju honey I hope he doesn't tear himself up over this
