Woah lads, this season hasn't had a chibi cute moment so far it's intense. So Yeju's rut is depicted as something really terrifying and Moryeon is utter wrecked, he's scared but is trying to take care of Yeju, but Yeju is a beast who won't stop no matter how many times Moryeon says it's enough. He genuinely fucks the life out of him that Moryeon ends up bruised and passes out
Meanwhile the family is having a meeting regarding the business that got delayed because moryeon locked himself up with no word and due to him not doing his job the merchant ships are delayed due to budget and they're all very disappointed in him
It gets so messy between the brothers as we see as unstable their dynamic currently is, Cheol suggests delegating Moryeon's job to someone else, Ilchu volunteers Cheol and tries to say he will help him but Seobun cuts him off and says how about he do it, again trying to sabotage Cheol like episode 15 (seems like he especially resentful of him, most likely suspecting him of the murder of their second brother)
Surprisingly Cheol again takes it and just makes a stoic face, their father decides to wait and see and Ilchu was angry saying why is father defending Moryeon, to which Cheol says it's not out of affection but more because the structure of the business can't change in day, as they saw with delegating the second brother's work
Ilchu calms down a bit and says so father is still (what? mourning?) but Cheol interrupts asking how is the task he asked him to investigate going. Ilchu says it's under process and is taking a while.
There's currently a break and oh man, just when the plot got thick. I think it's them that were spying on Seobun's meeting with Yeju in episode 25, I thought it was Moryeon's men but with this drop of information from the two brothers that they're looking into something I think it's the plant.
Yeju comes to his senses after fucking the life out of Moryeon and sees him bruises and passed out and is horrified.
I mean, I'm kinda impressed Yeju managed to hold out for as long as he did. An Alpha locked in a room with an Omega in heat for DAYS and having sex with said Omega while also having absolutely no form of supressant... The rut being particularly brutal is honestly no shock given the conditions.
Also, Moryeon being wrecked also makes sense, he just got his first ever full on heat with no way of controlling it, Yeju said in chapter 33 that he was barely eating as well. He was basically waking up and having sex till he passed out *for days* and then when he starts to gain some concience again Yeju rut hits.
I enjoy Moryeon learning the consequences of his actions because it's so clear he never fully understood what being an alpha truly entails, he just thought of it as something to obtain to overturn his older brother's position and become the patriarch. He's learning what he wanted to pretend to be as is actually like and I like that he's horrified at first.
Oh absolutely. And I love that he is learning from Yeju because I swear to god he is the alpha with most self control I have ever seen in all my years reading ABO but also being with someone with that much self-control the moment he loses it will absolutely be terrifying. Σ( ￣□￣||)
I really didn't want it to be the case but he's such a cutie I hate to see him as the second lead he's so adorable
