I have some grievances with these past two chapters for one I can understand not putting that much blame onto the soon to be Duke because once certain things happen he was a child, but I can’t put more blame on their family for doing zero research zero reconnaissance Leaving that fact behind, I really disliked the speech pattern the way it was formatted. I just did not like the writing. I also found the MC looked weird. She looks like a child. She look like she got a 5 head and a tiny ass chin. It was it was strange.
Besides that my biggest issue is just the writing I found that the author just didn’t make or take across the actual necessity for her breaking her engagement or his actual wrongs not just because it makes me worse. I don’t know if the author did that because they’re gonna end up together, but even so that part in necessity of why at that time should not have changed like first of all you should’ve brought up the fact it was partly because of his actions during his dance with another lady it was because in high society
clearly it would make her look lesser than and she’s already like that in her family it would be humiliating and it was wrong with them to use this strategy there could’ve been others and then there’s the fact that he saw her over obsession in her distress and decided never to log into it. A normal person doesn’t just randomly start, acting obsessive out of nowhere. She was a little bit before then, but she was clearly a lot nicer and softer, and then randomly she started acting kind of crazy, and you decided not to look into why or look into her at all he says he liked her or even cared, but that’s a lie. The whole thing feels quite fake from his perspective so I would not want to be with somebody if they thought of me like that like I was just as pretty or convenient so all you made me feel nice so my demeanor being soft determines how much you like me and that is an issue because that means you don’t actually like me
