They were fighting alot of DMCA claims and staff couldn't keep up with the ongoing legal battle so they decided to disband. Pretty sure between that and site costs it was just getting to much to handle. Some of the staff did end up migrating to a new site tho.
Does anyone know what happened to spring of romance--and why its been disbanded?
