Honestly, I listened to the reviews and thought, “Okay, I’ve read all the praise, so it must be good.” But it turned out to be too good to the point where it became boring.
Like, I don’t mind cute and fluffy stories, but this just isn’t it for me. Everything is centered around Yura, and there are literally no ups and downs. Even when Yura talks about her past and how much she “struggled,” we never actually get to see any of it. It just gets brushed over, and then everything is fine again.
Even her acting storylines… Like, at least make it about something else so we can actually see her struggling to get a role right or improve as an actress. But no, of course, it has to be about “a girl” who has been struggling in the acting industry and then gets broken up with by her boyfriend (aka her entire life ).
That being said, I do think they’re cute together as a couple, and their children are adorable (even though I haven’t gotten to that part yet, I know they end up together because I’ve read the reviews and saw some panels). But I just can’t bring myself to read more chapters when I’m sitting here yawning the whole time
