Fun fact: tattoos on the palms of your hands and bottoms of feet fade very quickly due to wear and tear as well! I am more than willing to back your theory. I hope you're right.

I did not know that but that’s really cool! I heard that like tattoos on the inside of your lip fade pretty quickly for I’m guessing similar reasons
Ok ok ok I may be the only one who didn’t pick up on this till now but I’m pretty freaking confident that his arms are tattooed and here’s why.
1. What he would have are called “blackout” tattoos which is just when an artist just blacks out the skin entirely
2. Most people when they get any tattoos don’t tattoo their nails (bc your nails grow so it doesn’t stay) and don’t tattoo the palms of their hands (bc it’s known for being like the most painful place to get a tattoo) so it would make sense why those areas were left out
3. If you notice you’ll see little lines here and there on the arms that go through the black in like an artistic way which is something done often in blackout tattoos like little contrast designs
4. Blackout tattoos are sometimes used to cover up old tattoos if someone is not able to get theirs covered up with something else (people often would rather get tattooed again instead of getting laser bc it’s less painful and is just maybe a couple sessions versus like 9-10 sessions of laser)
5. You can see the shape of the black on the skin follows the typical shape of a certain style of tattoo on the arms and pecs
So, knowing all of that, what would he want to cover up?

Even tho he’s Korean and not Japanese some Korean mobsters get tattoos similar to the yakuza (I’ve noticed it’s not as commonly seen on them as it is for the yakuza so maybe different rules idk)
It would explain a lot of his behavior too and the scar on his face and how he’s good at leading groups and intimidating people and just being an absolute unit of a man
