Nah, this story handles what the ML did as if he just said something offensive, like a sexist remark, or was a cocky workplace bully. Instead we get a drug used to coerce and rape omegas, so writing a redemption arc with that plot is... A choice. Not the one I'd make, that's for sure.
This story also barely even tried to do any meaningful commentary on how omegas are mistreated in an alphaist society, and in fact, despite showing how they're awfully sexualized, underestimated, victim blamed and sexually assaulted at work, it still goes - oh yeah, but since one rapist asshole (who perpetuates the rape culture and system with his actions) saved his sex partner interest from the other rapist asshole, he actually did something good, totally not self serving, so he's better than the rest and the MC should give him a second chance. Mind you, the ML only found the MC enticing and probably worth saving because, again, he drugged him and got a taste of his pheromones and body. This goes straight to the one star bin.
