man where do i even get started... this was so painful to read but i still managed to push through till the end bc i can't bear witnessing the amount of trauma that he went through without having those fuckers who're responsible for that either behind bars or killed.. this was deeply political psychological and social in a way that it's truly more than your ordinary bl. i want to stress abt the way the art remained as beautiful as it is during the rape and abuse scenes which made them even more heart wrenching and extra triggering at some point i ended up skipping some scenes bc they were just too much obv not visually but mentally. the artist did an incredible job capturing the numbness yet the explosion of both the mc and ml's emotions. the writing is obv top tier i like the pace too it's neither too slow nor too fast. i just wish there were less rape scenes but ig that was the purpose of the author making the readers uncomfortable through repetitive immersive occurrences. if you have a weak heart don't read this or prepare yourself to skim through chaps but it's truly worth reading and the ending was def appeasing to say the least
