Like do you think fiction should 1:1 reflect reality? Should characters be perfect avatars of your scruples? Are you not old enough or mature enough to differentiate reality from fiction?
I enjoy this for the storytelling and some interesting dark elements of what would be horrific in real life (but once again, this is fiction, you consume what would be heinous acts with the story) — the focus of the forceful actions in this story becomes less a crime in the eyes of law enforcement and more a physical representation of complex and intense form of obsession. Yes, it’s bad but it’s part of the storytelling.
Arousal in itself is something that goes beyond logic — and so in the same vein, beyond what’s moral. Fiction is a way of exploring taboo ideas without having to bring that baggage into real life and potentially harming others.

There are obviously kinks and fetishes here that aren’t designed to reflect reality. In fact, everyone’s a little bit of a caricature, and yet…..some of you still view this in the lens of real life….what’s not clicking?
