Didn't Xinlu already do that? He kidnapped Taeui in Passion and made Ilay roll around on the ground, didn't he? But honestly, I still think that was pretty underwhelming compared to everything Xinlu had already been through. A lot of Ilay stans just don't like that fact and always excuse his actions, whereas Xinlu? They immediately drag him for it.
Also, this story only focuses on Xinlu and Yuri's relationship, and it's much calmer than the other Passion series. So if you're expecting drama outside of the conflicts between Xinlu and Yuri, you might be disappointed. This story is more about Xinlu learning to understand his own feelings and what it really means to love someone.
guys did xinlu atleast, FOR ONCE, was able to get back against ilay in the novel or it is always him getting hurt lol
