But not to the point that they tell the characters to die for being ugly?
That's literally tellin someone to die in real for being ugly because a fictional character who's ugly shouldn't exist.

Heyya! I purposefully didn’t really put that in my discussion because it’ll fall into the tricky subject of “fiction is fiction”

Plenty of people like to overreact when it comes to fictional character because they’re fictional and not real life people! And usually what they say to fictional characters don’t really translate to what they’d say to a real person because again, they’re characters that do not actually exist in real life

But again, that can also be dangerous especially when applied to actual dangerous fictional characters, that’s why i said it’s a tricky subject. Though in this case it’s clear people make those comments as a hyperbole to the cringe feeling they get in seeing the uke’s face, and saying that it means telling actual ugly people to die is kinda a stretch, cuz this is a matter of face anatomy that unfortunately the artist is still lacking on some part

I get where you’re coming from though! But again, that’s just how lots of people are on the internet when reacting to something they don’t like. Sometimes they do that for humorous reasons, even if we don’t find it funny at times. Comments that are telling the uke to die just because of his looks may be distasteful because that’s clearly an overreaction, but that’s just how fierce reader’s taste are when it comes to visuals in manhwa because visuals dictate the entirety of your reading experience just as importantly as the plot does
