Rant

I've been reading chinese bl novels for a while now but wtf is wrong with their beauty descriptions?!?! The "white porcelain skin/skin so pale it's transparent" or always milky smelling shou, not too muscular/slim waist and ofcourse the no body hair bs. Like I would understand and ignore if it was mentioned once or twice, but no. it's every damn time shou comes into the scene and author has to keeps repeating it. I am reading, enjoying the chemistry and randomly get an ick so strong I physically recoil.

PS: also, what is up with them always using eight packs(abs) for gong, I rarely see six pack descriptions.
