Anyone else believing that they‘re not able to connect with other people? No matter what I say or do, I feel like my surrounding doesn‘t wish to associate themselves with me. Recently, college started and everyone immediately isolated themselves in groups of friends. I tried to show interest and be extroverted and friendly but it never works so I guess I‘m not meant to have friends.

Bruh u just got to interact with them like they are already ur friends. They can sense if you find yourself unwanted. If u sell urself to others in a way that makes u desirable automatically people will be drawn to u. Yeah it’s a little messed up but that’s just how the human mind works. If ur naturally introverted and socially awkward then no one would want to be friends with you because you have nothing to offer them. If u find other people that are also introvert and awkward then maybe u will get along but don’t wait for people to approach u because they probably won’t. They have no reason to. If everyone already established groups I would recommend choosing a group. finding a reason to enter said group (group project, mutual classes, mutual friends….) and expand from there. Idk this works for me pretty well.
