read up to ch 6 and I couldn't stand MC. I understand he has his own twisted circumstances and experiences, but having trauma and problems is one thing while hurting good people is another.
ML genuinely gave him a kinder, better treatment in the bedroom, and yet he was still going to screw ML over by trying to scam him.
MC also wanted to destroy ML's reputation in his clinic - like wth ML didn't report him to the police and let him atone by helping with animals, and yet MC causes drama at the workplace.
As for the side character, I hated her sm. She had the gull to slap ML for being an omega because she fantasized about him on her own accord - they are NOT in a relationship, the delusional woman is just one of the owners who bring their pets there and is actually one of the owners who go to the vet TOO often that its stressing her animal out - without knowing he wasn't an alpha after all.
how I wished so bad that friend defending ML slapped that woman back TT^TT bc ML - who was gentle with MC, was so pure he cried over newborn animals - has been the only green flag so far.
