Ok so this has many problems but....its exactly my taste. I understand Jiseo completely. If you just think of Haru like a hypermanic, clingy, only close to you, jealous, and beautiful cat? Its adorable and u rlly cant get enough. Like Haru frustrated me fr fr so I dont advise many people to read this. But for me personally? I love that freakxfreak, what pot goes what what lid, "only i can tolerate you" type of love(in fiction).
Haru has like all the qualities of a possessive yandere but it never borders on danger, just occasional annoyance. There's no noncon and he tries his best to conform to what he thinks Jiseo wants at first. But then Jiseo tells him to be honest with him, so Haru reveals his true nature(but doesnt go too far for these types of MLs ie. No rape and imrpisonment). He just runs away from home(like a cat), sulks(like a cat), gets jealous(like a cat), and cries alot. If it was someone else, id feel bad for them, but Jiseo is exactly where he wants to be lol. What cat owner doesn't complain, but cant help finding every bad habit of their cat adorable? In the end, its all bc the cat loves me to death, how adorable. This is Jiseos mentality.
Jiseo himself isnt normal which is kinda revealed slowly. After Haru confessed to him when he was a minor, he waited two years without knowing if Haru still had feelings for him(he even delayed his enlistment and stayed single on purpose). Then he bottomed for him on purpose. Then he accepted all the strange behaviors of Harus as long as it wasn't actual imprisonment. Later its revealed he even turned into a love brain and his grades dropped and he stopped seeing his family as much to spend time with Haru(this was before he knew how possessive Haru was so it was entirely his own choice not influenced by Haru).
I feel like i liked this bc its a bit diff from other yandere tops in that Jiseo isnt enduring anything to be with Haru. He is truly happy, wants to be with Haru, and likes all things about Haru including his negative traits. He is completley love blind and there is no suffering on his part at all as long as he knows Haru loves him. Both Haru and Jiseo are complete love brains and obsessive. Jiseo is like that meme where if you see me on the street being yelled at by my gf, dont save me, im where I want to be. So...my kind of fiction. It'd be one thing if he didnt like it, but not only does he tolerate it, he loves it. Mutual insanity.
Basically if ur into two characters that are completely into each other beyond the realms of reality or what is healthy(me. Thats me). This is for u. Its fluffy in that its little to no serious drama but I wouldn't call it healthy. Id say its an acquired taste.
