It's beautiful and refreshing, clearly written by an author who wanted to see a happy ending. The characters learn to trust and love in a healthy way despite their flaws, learn from each other, observe their environment keenly. It's nice to have a story where the characters feel realistically intelligent. I felt like I was figuring out the plot alongside them instead of the typical unconvincing naivete that characters in these sort of plots tend to have.
