It's because he was slacked off with practices and doing it half-heartedly, the hands was very stiff because the original body never really practices piano and never improved, didn't meet the school's standard but because of his family background the rumor said he got to the school through connection and not for his skills, that's why everyone sees him as a nepo baby who didn't have skill at all
