No, really, when the first time it came out, there were many who pointed it out, and I very much agreed that it was done without consent, even if Yuri himself didn't mind it since it is Yuri who is hopelessly in love with Xinlu. Yuri otherwise was not hurt by the sex, but he was hurt by it being a "charity work" from Xinlu.
That said, I think we already know the kind of person Xinlu is right from the start. So attaching normal morality to him isn't going to work. Xinlu came from a highly privilage family who deals with shady stuff, and people came flocking to him without him even trying. In the earlier chapter, he did mention that he didn't particularly care for sex. For him, doing it is akin to charity work. This twisted man really thought he is doing Yuri a favor, without realizing he has fallen in love with Yuri, and he needed an excuse to get close to him.
That I think is a part of the appeal of this couple's dynamic. When a psycho falls in love, this is what happened. Yuri will slowly make this tiger and domesticate him into a cat.
