Honestly, I think it is a new generation thing. A lot of newer readers seem pretty young, and some of them get offended really easily and start fights over nothing. Then there's the other group acting all superior with the 'tradfujo' persona when you can tell they're like 12. I'm not hating on younger readers, I was one when I got into this stuff. It's just that the vibe is different now.
So overall I think it’s just a lack of maturity on all sides lol, though I don’t think the manga/manhwa community has changed that much. People are just more open about their opinions/views now
Idk, guys. Back in 2019-2020, when we made a dirty joke about a manhua or manga, we’d all just laugh about it. Nobody took things so seriously. We’d comment without overthinking, say whatever came to mind, and just have fun. No wars, no crazy people. it was such a chill time.
