Shame it's so short; I was invested in this green flag story.
So, all it took was for ML to fake date a random guy and for MC to perform at a play to get his strict mom's approval? That was anticlimatic. And also: what about ML's dad? He's barely seen and seems like a cool guy. Why doesn't ML interact with him or involve him in his and MC's scheme? Why didn't he take time off of work to see his granddaughter at the play? Doesn't ML's mom work as well?
