Wait. Wait. What if that professor and ML are half siblings or something? Like what if professor father SA'ed ML mother, that's why her secretary said that "she already suffered enough or she already went through so many things" and that's why she is not EVEN present in ML childhood or throughout his life and is far away from him as to forget his existence and thinking that was all a NIGHTMARE. I think that's why the professor is all has his fucking psycho nose in their business where it's NOT FUCKING BELONG. but yeah that's just why theory cuz aside from this I cannot make any type of connection between professor & ML & mother & professor father ( who we got to know about by wooju kidnapping )
