is korea really that crazy with rumors and projecting romantic potential on everything they see?? bc in america unless I witness them lock lips or they’re literally holding hands, fingers entwined, then I absolutely will NOT automatically assume shit. almost everyone I know is the same! it’ll cross our mind. even same sex pairs, it’ll occur to us "they could be dating" but also…this is a diverse fucking world and there are a plethora of possibilities sooooo they also could be siblings, step-siblings, cousins, aunts/uncles, friend, childhood friend, close co-worker, patient + caregiver, college colleagues, a casual consultant meeting, roommate, and etc etc etc
Ik I’m reading fiction but this is one of those things where I’m not sure if it’s exaggerated for the sake of the drama, fictional stereotypes, and storyline; or if this is a cultural thing that is actually typical there.
