The brother is not that bad

I'm an elder sibling going through something like Jaeyi and it's not pleasant. It wrecks you so much

he had to sacrifice a lot and his brother also takes advantage of the pity that ppl had on him to the point of jaeyi being ignored so yeah he has all the right to be that angry on him and it just shows how he's trying to befriend ideum and probably plans on snagging him in some way as well esp after knowing that they're not official

I understand that, but the blame should be on the parents more than anything no?

Did you not read the chapter? Jiseong made jaeyi feel like shit accusing him of wishing he was dead and then manipulated him for the rest of their lives because of jaeyi feeling guilt. He went in his room, took his stuff, messed up his uniform and then blatantly went to their mom to get her to change the food just because it was what jaeyi wanted

But they were kids, do siblings not have jealous rivalries when they’re kids? Sibling rivalry with kids is super common and often inflicted by the parents’ behaviour. I just don’t get people painting the brother as irredeemable because of that. And the ‘wishing he was dead’ part could be that as a kid he sees his brother acting resentful towards him and that makes him feel like his brother hates him and his sickness.

it makes sense that people find jiseong irritating. as a kid, its valid but the story hints that the same thing can happen now. he's grown up now so he should be more concious of his actions (if his goal in mind is rlly to touch ideum)

I never enjoy siblings rivalry these are the same siblings that will steal your inheritance from you. Just because you have a nice relationship with your siblings doesn't mean everyone has
