Ikr. I won't say Ilay is better cos he's just a slightly mild version of those Russians but to say 'like 'em better'??? Ceasar was literally a fully committed rapist til the end of the story!! I hated him so bad cos there was not the slightest growth in his character. Zhenya was so forgivable compared to Ceasar cos he had major changes at the climax of the story to the end. I actually liked Zhenya better than Taekjoo in their relationship. So to say 'better' is too much.
For me;
Ilay = Zhenya > Ceasar
It's because more of the circumstances, and less the actions. It's because if Ilay let Taeui speak for literally just 10 seconds, he can clear up the misunderstanding. He's literally right there. He was literally on his way to come back to him. But nooooo, he gagged him a lot and keep spouting his boohoo nonsense. It's incredibly infuriating.
