What hold on apart form the main characters losing the ability to think and the short chapter I have a question I understand that his adoptive father wants to pass the bad luck to him but isn't he like old and either way wont he soon die so like why is he bothering to do all this cos in my head if you could do all this why nit do some immortality ritual or something and like why can't the majn characters just both run away together like why. Didn't they hide they knew the chairman would soon die so why not hide and let him die why aren't any of them thinking
