Regarding Compatibility:

Ideum is used to being appeasing, because he has always been made to feel like a burden by his mom. For ideum, it’s almost always “whatever works best for you” or “we can do whatever you want” even if it pushes his comfort level. For someone like jaeyi, who as a child was denied ever having things the way he would prefer, ideum always giving in to him is giving him a kind of euphoria he has not often experienced. Jaeyi pushes Ideum’s boundaries, and he does seem to recognize that he pushes too much sometimes. Jaeyi also likes Ideum’s dedication and hard work as a self made writer, as compared to jaeyi’s brother whom jaeyi feels had everything handed to him without much effort. Ideum is longing for the encouragement and reassurance that jaeyi gives him, as ideum has not had much family encouragement and is lacking some confidence. Jaeyi is reassuring and accepting, which ideum greatly needs. They both compliment each other well. They struggle with emotional expression right now, but I can’t wait until their feelings grow deeper.
