now that I think about it, the town fears of death right but how do you think the hounds were able to get supplies? by killing other people for their own survival. it’s such a finicky subject considering guwon did kill the people that they love, but the townspeople are also selfish in their own way by thinking they’re the only victims in this apocalypse.

i get they wanted to get out of living in fear, and yea honestly it makes sense to prioritise other things (im talking about the situation that started it all when someone was trying to get the meds for the sick child and the father was killed)
like supplies are limited, reasonable way to go about it is to only give it to the utmost important part of your survival rather than a kid. i honestly sound a bit inhumane, but when youre at environment where you could die at any second, rationality rules above all than letting emotions take over you.
i understand the townspeople i really do, but i get why guwon said they’re weak. they failed to see the bigger picture and try to save themselves without thinking of the repercussions that’ll affect in the future. or maybe they did and they’d rather choose to die at their own hands, instead of dying at the hands of the hounds or guwon.

as for jinwoo, he is so. non-responsive, emotionless and empty. what’s with that? if we look back bro was brimming with emotions, and now he’s just flat.
i hope this isn’t the end of it, it feels like this is nearing the end of the season finale

But i don't think they think they're the only victims at all, i mean they say themselves they felt sm guilt it's what stopped them from taking action for so long

I agree with you . For the last paragraph you wrote, I think it's because he recovered his memories. The memory of Guwon killing his father and you know the guilt he must be feeling knowing he slept and even had loving emotions towards someone who murdered his father in front of him.

Honestly I don't see the reasoning or logic to, "I want to die by my own rights without fear" in a dire situation this pride and ego thing doesn't make sense. You have to make difficult choices , what does pride and ego give you in an apocalypse?? Why add this kind of reasoning here? Do you think maybe the author is eluding to a culture thing than trying to infer that the reasoning of the town's people is inante, like human nature.?

i think they felt because of the other people that died at guwon’s hand. like they all raise their arm for the person to be killed because they couldn’t oppose it despite having a “choice”, they feel guilty because they also played a hand (no pun intended) when those ppl were “punished”(killed)
