read up to ch 37 so that's all i can say for now — and perhaps how I genuinely like the characters and the side characters, albeit I've only read this far.
mc isn't weak, although he seem helpless at first; he has conviction.
despite how isolated he has been growing up and how maltreated he was because of the danger he posed to those around him due to his unique attributes, he develops his own thoughts and arrive at his own conclusions — it was his own decision not to be swayed by those who want to use him to harm someone who has been warm and kind to him.
that ability to judge for himself and developing the moral conviction to go against ones circumstances and fate, and yet retain their naiveté in a sense, is what sometimes i don't find in other helpless mcs.
just because someone might be fragile and don't know a lot about the world, doesn't mean that they actually don't have a keenness to them.
the ml is the same — he is more sharp and able, but the author somehow lets the heart and softness shine though.
anyway, i digress.
if anything i just wanted to say it's a compelling and immersive story so far.
ch (38) OMG NO! I hate those shackles dammitttt
ch 43 ugh no. I hate this incorporeal entity !! it's just trying to use Radan for its vendetta !! all this time it let him suffer and now it's brainwashing him to kill the prince. The person Radan treasures the most! he was willing to end his own life in order not to harm the Highness :(( this abominable witch keeps getting into his mind gahhh get lost bich.
but i love that they are having a hard time manipulating mc accordingly muahahaha mc is real mvp so far. his own convictions prevails whenever he's close to hurting the prince
ch 44 so good TT^TT
ch 45 I hate these false prophets who try to stir trouble !!
