Brother.. you don't need to unload your childhood trauma on some other boy you only consider your fuck body who also has an incredible amount of childhood trauma. But anyway yeah glass child syndrome is REAL guys! Siblings of chronically, terminally or special needs children SUFFER. Most often than not their parents genuinely neglect them to fulfill the needs of the more sicker child. They don't attend developmental events, they neglect reacting and praising the child for a highly important time during development of a personality, etc. They may even neglect that child's own physical needs, especially if they fall sick too, because their sibling is sicker. So that child is "fine" or they will be "fine". Tbh I feel like there should be legal consequences to neglecting physically and emotionally your child in then for another one. There is simply no justification possible. Yes, that child needs more attention to thrive. But your other children too. Most often these kids develop major depression, complex PTSD, anxiety, self esteem issues and even suicidal ideation life long because they believe someone would actually care about them for a at least one day that's all about them if they died
