I can understand where you're coming from, but it also looks like she just doesn't know the language yet.
It's common for people to speak brokenly when learning a new language.
Hopefully she grows and has more character development
Tbh the lucy character seem to have some racial stereotypes added to her. Like it really mirrors sunflower from fantasia situation. Dont get me wrong. I love her, shes adorable and strong, but the story shows here as darker skinned individual with inablility to communicate correctly and immense strenght who is true of heart. Its really similair to XX century potrayals. Despite it beign positive of course, she is meant to be comic relieve, and thats not ok for me. But maybe only me
