Rant on, I hate how so many popular bl novels have these toxic, literally criminal MLs and they all end up getting glorified and get a happy ending with basically no payback whatsoever. They're always handsome, good at everything, invincible, and rich. It's fucking stupid bro, as if that automatically absolved them of all their sins. This, Codename Anastasia, Roses&Champagne, Reverse thinking, they're all the same.

Normalizing this kind of relationships is what keeps bl from progressing as a genre. It's why we have shitty manhwa like Jinx being popular. Yes, the ML is shit too, but at least he later recognizes he is a piece of shit and regrets it.

Imagine how shitty this is when even Jaekyung is a better male lead.
