I’m so vested b/c the art & characters are so beautifully drawn but wtf!!!! The MC is pissing me off! Does he not know how to communicate? He has never confessed therefore he has never been rejected. Instead of just being honest & saying he has feelings he just runs away. Instead of texting his (MC) friend (ML) from high school & at least telling him he can’t come back to school he ghosts him. But the ML gives him a job & helps him out! This is legit annoying & painful to read. My heart breaks for the ML. His life has been incredibly complicated & he can’t even find a decent therapist so he just medicates himself with no relief. I’m not saying that excuses his (ML’s) behavior, nor am I saying it’s the MC’s job to fix it, or even help, but it sure explains it.
