i think its been pretty obvious within the last few chapters that the author was facing creativity issues. there was a lot of edging in most chapters (im pretty sure the first bite mark was dragged for 3 eps??) and the chapters were getting shorter and shorter. i think it was mostly obvious when changdeok asked jongwu if he wanted to drink his blood for the 2nd time knowing the side effects would come back again. it kinda felt out of character for changdeok to ask a question like that knowing HES the one who would get horny. for someone who tries to be careful with the way he acts in front of a guy that likes him, it was really out of place and unnatural. i dont think anyone expected the scene to get way more intimate after that question was asked. in fact, i dont think anyone was expecting changdeok to ask that question in the first place bc it was so sudden. i’d expect changdeok to ask that way later in the story after he develops deeper feelings for jongwu. (not hating on the author i just felt like pointing out the part that made more sense to me from the hiatus notice. that 2nd bite was NEEDED after we got edged on the first bite)
