part of me wants to see jinwoo go mad despite his efforts to make the village a safe haven, and take guwons place as the village leader, becoming the ruthless king that sisyphus was
it feels like the series has been leading up to something like that happening with the 'unreliable narrator' trope which makes this feel like the midpoint. but i like to look too much into things lol.
Nah I agree, there’s been buildup with his previous memories being violent and his chill reaction to the bodies. He’ll have to confront that and the reality of surviving in the apocalypse. I think in the end he’ll become more ruthless and Guwon will become more understanding, so that they compromise and lead the town better :3 I’m really looking forward to their romance !!
