from what i’ve understood so far while translating the story, basically gwanchang was prophesied to be the black swan, meaning someone who brings disaster/misfortune, and his presence is supposed to affect the nation of god, which is hwanmae’s territory. that territory is ruled by ihwa, hwanmae’s father.
each of hwanmae’s siblings has their own ability. hwanmae can see the future, which is why he was able to see gwanchang’s future. to change that future, he approached gwanchang. at first, gwanchang was a prisoner since he came from an enemy territory, being one of the sons of the most powerful king who basically massacres people to conquer other territories (mo zhao-serpent nation)
hwanmae then slowly got closer to gwan, first making him his work partner, and their relationship gradually develops from there. so yeah, they’re literally enemies to lovers.
that’s basically the gist of the story so far. sorry if i got anything wrong since i haven’t read the novel, this is just my understanding of the main plot up to chapter 8.
Can anyone helped to explained it on a summary of what this is all about?
SK vs NK and thrown in the war, supernatural, gore and etc. I am literally lost that I can't get the gist of it. (⊙…⊙ )
