A REVIEW COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS FINISHED THIS.

Just so you know…I personally would not recommend Crossed to everyone. However, if you enjoy extremely transgressive stories and stories about a completely messed-up society, this series might be for you. Just be aware that Crossed, written by Garth Ennis and other creators, goes to some very extreme places and contains a lot of disturbing content.

Zoophilia themes (ch 73) a crossed female mentions doing it with a lion but her friends hold her back.

I forgot the chapter but one has a mothers toddler daughter that turned say she wanted to smell or do something related to her mother vagina

In chapter 79 one of the characters mentioned how the virus had a child force themselves upon the character (i think the guy is sandstorm) . A child forced themselves upon sandstorm (sandstorm mentioned that to tell his friend he was with how whatever is going isn’t normal. Hes talking about the virus)

Shrink
Shrink is an interesting story. Clancy is a very two-faced character, and some of the things he does are surprising. However, it is not shocking in an exaggerated way. Instead, it is more of a quiet, “Wow, that is messed up” kind of reaction. The story ends around Chapter 90. Honestly, a small part of me feels bad for Clancy despite everything that happens.
Chapter 90
I feel bad for Legisha (her name i think) because she is used by some loser horned out chuds to satisfy their sexual urges. I also dislike the “fat bastard” trope used in the story. What makes the situation worse is that the chuds later ask her to make comics for them to enjoy.
Chapters 96–97
During these chapters, both Crossed women and uninfected human women are pregnant as part of Smokey’s attempt to build a society. Smokey is an intelligent Crossed who is trying to organize and control the others.
However, his plans quickly fall apart. The pregnant women are initially kept in a room for their safety, but during a distraction, Crossed who do not follow Smokey’s orders reach them. The women are either killed or infected and turned into Crossed. As a result, the unborn children also die.
Smokey is frustrated by what happened and decides that he needs to find another intelligent companion who can help him manage his society.
Chapter 98
Smokey finds some new companions, but he is eventually pushed around by them. Personally, I think he should have killed them, but that is just my opinion. He also has a son during this part of the story.
Chapters 99–100
There is a 13-year time skip. After this, Smokey’s “wives” turn against him, and his son does as well. They shoot Smokey, causing him to fall into a river. They leave believing that he is dead.
However, at the end of the story, Smokey comes out of the water and grabs his axe. This leaves the story on a cliffhanger and concludes Crossed: Badlands.
One thing I found interesting throughout the story is that, aside from the obvious physical behavior of the Crossed, they can also be mentally similar to humans. Some Crossed can be cunning, manipulative, narcissistic, and egotistical.
Chapters 87–100
The cover art was good in my opinion, still contained gore but it didn’t have anything sexual going on is what im getting at.
