Worth it

Currently in international water on a cruise with internet that is slow as hell (1-2 out of 5 bars) but it was worth it! Gotta push through!
Did we all see his expression when he saw his name! Ahhhh! My heart! And the reaching out for a kiss too!!!

    ik this question wasnt directed at me ( ̄へ ̄)but yes! there are stabilized maritime satellite communication systems mounted on top of the cruise like vsat or leo satellites that allow access to the internet at sea!

    that's so cool! is the network provided on a priority basis? bc i'm assuming the crew would use it to maintain communication with staff on shore or mayb they use a specialized one idrk

    thats right! the highest priority goes to marine safety operations, then ship business, then crew communication and the lowest priority is passenger internet lol. pretty sure you have to pay for tiers of internet availability packages too and the one who pays for the higher tier package, gets higher priority laning. also i think big bandwidth downloads software downloads or exceeding a file limit set by them can cause them to block or throttle the service
