I’m glad to hear that! I really love stories like this and while I do see some baby lists, they’re mostly focused on smut (bl) or reincarnation stuff, so they’re not fully about the sweet innocence and pure daily lives of actual children. So I knew I had to find them myself, I dug deep and hard to find things based solely on this, so if you can, I’d really appreciate a recommendation for it You totally don’t have to if you don’t want to though, just the follow alone is enough support so thank you very much for doing so~

Not literally Romeo Juliet perse’. Dominic Ashley’s father is a top lawyer in East Coast and Juliet (Let’s call Ashley’s mother as Juliet.) Well the law firm where Juliet works wanted Dominic to join their law firm. So Juliet seduced Dominic and made him fall. When Dominic fell in love and joined the law firm. Juliet ghosted him while Dominic on the other hand was already preparing for their wedding he didn’t know Juliet was also to wed to the CEO’s child. So yeah Dominic found out. Abducted and held Juliet captive. SA’d till Juliet conceived and gave birth to Ashley. BTW Juliet’s first name is also Ashley that’s why Ashley doesn’t like it when others calls him Ashley. He even told Koi that Ash Miller is jealous of Ashley Miller. Basically Ashley Juliet Dawson Miller is his mother. Yep Dominic and Juliet married in the end.
Well Ashley never got any paternal and maternal love. Dominic is far too obsessed to his Juliet and Juliet is far to desperate to escape Dominic to the point where Juliet asked Ashley one day to end everything. So Ashley who took pity to the person who birthed him choke out the life out of Juliet and Dominic saw it. Ashley was locked in a basement for 3 days. After that he never approached Juliet again. The constant aura of death in their mansion is what made Ashley asked his father to send him anywhere away from the East coast. That’s how he ended up studying and living in the West coast. Well year later this is already Ashley and Koi story. So basically Juliet died and his father Dominic followed Juliet to its death.
When Greyson tried to poison Koi, and Stacy and Nathaniel who are in it too, he realized why his father Dominic locked him in the basement is because he pose threat to his own Ashley after he tried to kill the person who his father loved dearly. He saw how his own children has the potential to kill their own mother too.
Ashley did what he thinks what’s best for his own children. Koi is Ashley’s life we all know that. He vouched his own life just to get Koi and suddenly his own children just tried to kill their own mother out of curiosity? Ashley said in his POV “No one saw Koi as his own world, not even their own children.”
