i have mild panic attacks when i talk to ppl (ptsd) but i perform better when i'm sleep-deprived or stressed out about something else... what's the correlation? bc i don't wanna ruin my health but i just wanna talk to ppl normally without having to rely on meds
I think you do better in those conditions since you're not fully focused on people or your panic driven thoughts. For me, I become anxious around people or assume people gossip about me when I walk by.
I did get a bit better by working at a place with a fair amount of people and slowly interacting with them little by little while also reminding myself that the world isn't out to get me.
I also suggest watching shows or reading stories with uplifting themes or comedies in general. Even journaling or doing arts and crafts could help as you release your stress towards something positive/constructive.
