and the way he heard the rule "only love one woman" and "logically" chose Arie and equated love to protection and being comfortable.
that man feels nothing for Arie and neither does Arie. he's just following the rules with his rigid sense of "justice"
like imo hendricks or whatever seems majorly autistic and i dont mean that in a way as to excuse his behavior but like there's a disconnect with himself and others that jus seems like there's genuinely sumn else going on
