So apparently, from what I have read in the spoilers, the Marquess finds out about what Lilith’s mother did back then and will do, because she is still a little snitch, and he leaves her at the end, alongside their son, whom she had prioritized over Lilith after he was born. They were both quite disgusted by her actions. But take this with a grain of salt since I also have only read this in spoilers and I’m not sure how the adaptation handles this whole thing with them. And feel free to correct me. :)

I really feel so sorry for that Marquess, he seems like such a nice guy, yet he doesn't know how much of a bitch the woman he had married turned out to be smh
