I mean, I alrdy guessed that common sense doesn't exist in this manhwa, when the ml had a very visible injury on his hand, and he displayed the blood on the sheets... And nobody suspected??? Like at ALL??? Ridiculous.
Also, can I say Agatha is so fucking stupid. She mentions that she hates her mom for pushing her to a marriage without knowing how she feels, but mf is STILL pinning and causing problems to the ml???? Despite knowing that the dude clearly doesn't like her? Stupid asf. Too many stupidity in this manhwa, I'm out.
One of the things I despise most about this genre of manhwa is that they never have FMCs who don’t exactly fit East Asian beauty standards. Even if the MC isn’t considered a great beauty, her character design will still completely cater to said standards. No wonder women there have such bad body image issues and colorism is so rampant.
Not just that, but the navy. Between cleaning, hauling supplies, dealing with rigging since they showed sail boats, and fighting she should have some good muscles. Even a desk job shouldn't have sapped her strength that much considering she has physical evaluations still.
It's rlly interesting. Like I get it, I love some beautiful mcs or side characters, but muscles????? Do authors/artist not have any pride?? Like how does stuff like this slip their mind?
RIGHT? And I'm not asking for her to look like a hulk, but at LEAST some lean muscles. Not only that, why is she so pale... When she's just a knight? At least give her some tan. Matter of fact, ALL knights should have some sort of tan, especially the ones who train everyday outside. I came back to chapter 1, and it seems that there is 2 tan knights. A woman and a man.. which means the artist CAN do that.
Tbh I’m pretty sure it’s a conscious choice on the artist’s/editor’s part. They’re probably afraid a manhwa won’t sell if they don’t make the FMC look delicate, pale, and childlike… and by doing that, they actively perpetuate the very strict beauty standards that limit the genre. It’s ironic because you actually see more variation in female character designs in manhwa marketed toward male readers. I’ve noticed that tan muscle mommies are surprisingly popular amongst male readers/viewers. Personally I love them too! <3

That's like, one of the worse character designs imo. I guess if u mean that they have the lolis(but she's 100yrs old), another loli(who's in highschool that has a crush on the older mc), most girls having big ass boobs, the short hair flat chested tsundere childhood friend, and most of the time even if they r apparently "strong", they still don't have any visible muscles. Likeee, let's look at One piece or Naruto characters for example. SPECIFICALLY, the main or supporting characters. Despite fighting for their lives a lot of times, their female characters still look delicate, with white pristine skin. Ofc, there r some side/npc characters that have tan or "bulky" bodies, but isn't that the same in this manhwa?? There's a female knight with tan skin. It's rlly rare to have main female characters that are visibly buff in both female and male marketed audiences. And the author

Hmm after reading your comment I realize my tastes in male-oriented works are way too niche to be an accurate reflection of the whole lmao I’m going to trust your word on this and say I was wrong! I hate it when authors/artists makes the fl a knight, but draws her super skinny, who looks like they never moved a muscle... Exhibit A, chapter 17, when the fl looked at herself in the mirror. Her arms look like a TWIGGG. But u want me to believe she's a knight???? This is a great example of lazy writing/art.
