I guess my original comnent was badly phrased, let me try again. I know the original work is Bl as I've stated. I read and enjoyed a lot of bl and I don't think I am being homophobic. Just because we are in ch 73 doesn't mean the story itself has progressed much (when we think of time that has passed). I thought a kiss felt odd, as the two have previously been bickering and had a relationship which to me felt more akin to brotherhood. The past events that connect them are very tragic but developing a love interest with someone you previously had a hierarchy setting with is something I find problematic. Personally I would have enjoyed to see their relationship develop further before the kiss, and I would have preferred to read a story with a strong bond rather than one with (what feels to me) shallow love and future miscommunication (stereotypically, i don't know if it will happen as I have not read the novel!! Just wanted to comment what i thought after reading the latest chapters). This is a valid story, with a valid progression, which I will continue to read as I enjoy the basic setting. Hoping to see development in their relationship rather than anxiety kissing and miscommunication raping. This is just what I thought after clicking off the latest chapter, it's my opinion and I am not bashing the whole story to the ground. Please use argumenting to make this an interesting converstaion instead of insults over a comic with fictional characters
i think i get your point. i’ve read the novel and this scene felt way more natural in it. the pacing in the manwha is kind of messed up and they didn’t emphasize enough the fact that sayoung is literally on the verge of breaking down when euijae kisses him. you see, sayoung has spent his life searching for Euijae, he’s obsessed with him, and the manwha failed to convey that fact. when Euijae kisses him, it’s because sayoung thought for a second he’d died or something, and the chock is so intense he starts panicking for real so euijae doesn’t know what else to do. he just wants to bring him back to his senses. here, we barely understand how far sayoung is gone before euijae kisses him, they just needed to put the kiss at the end of the chapter for show, which is very regrettable

Actually so disappointed that this is bl (eventhough i knew from tags). All the progression and vig revelations happened sooo fast and the kiss feels so out of pocket for their characters.
